Denmark, Luxembourg, United Kingdom and Greece has reported information about hospital discharges more than 3 years ago, while 21 countries have data about hospital discharges for the year 2019 and after.
Rate of hospital discharges per 100,000 population demonstrated 48-fold difference, being lowest in Netherlands and highest in Bulgaria (22.3 and 1071.6, respectively). Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, United Kingdom, Spain, Cyprus and Netherlands had rate less than 100, another 16 countries had rate between 100 and 500, while Bulgaria, Lithuania and Hungary had rates greater than 500 hospital discharges per 100,000 population.
